I’ve been tying up work together. Thinking about transformation. It occurs to me that that is part of the move to deal with the climate disasters.
Capitalism being the problem. Society has been violently wrenched into shapes with fear and violence. A historical project. The violence is necessary to persist in sucking the earth dry of its resources and hoarding those resources for the benefit of a small number of people – and devoted to accelerating further violence against the planet. By which I mean of course – people and ecosphere.
This is not as common a perspective as it might be.
A magical transformation. Which will not happen. To convince hostile subjects of something they refuse is impossible.
I see human forms as part of our ecosphere, built into architecture or landforms or – monster like – composite life forms.
