i am reading Satan Tango by Laszlo Krasznahorkai – Sebald had given it a remarkable review (& mebbe written more on him? if so i can’t find it) – it’s the book the Bela Tarr film is based on, & Krasznahorkai has worked with Tarr on quite a few projects.
it’s beautifully balanced. visceral and dreamy.
I am now resisting the urge to purchase everything he has written
